| Digital VS Emulsion | 12 Jun 2006 17:17 GMT | 25 |
I love my A620, the best digital camera that I have owned, and I have owned six. As great as the photos are, they still do not compare to my film photos.

| // Cutouts can crash Qimage. REPEATABLE. // | 12 Jun 2006 16:36 GMT | 2 |
I have been complaining about Qimage not supporting signatures, so necessary for professional work, and about problems when I tried to use "cutouts" to include signatures in my prints. It is all detailed here: http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/view_topic.php?id=91941&forum_id=33

| Sony Alpha 100 image samples to compare noise | 12 Jun 2006 14:53 GMT | 2 |
I think Sony has done a very good job with the ten megapixel sensor. I've posted 1:1 crops at 100 through to 1600 ISO here: http://dpnow.com/bb/dslr.pl?read=841 The anti-shake (sorry - Super Steady Shot Inside!) looks very effective too.

| Photoshop Elements ver. 2 versus ver. 4 | 12 Jun 2006 13:34 GMT | 11 |
We didn't bother to ugrade from PSE ver. 2 to ver. 3 because 3 didn't offer that much more than 2 and the upgrade didn't seem to be worth the money. However, we were just given a coupon for an upgrade to ver. 4 at less than 1/2 price. Is 4 worth it? Is it that much better than 2? ...

| D200 Shooting data question | 12 Jun 2006 12:36 GMT | 8 |
I have a new D200. I had it out yesterday trying to undestand it (compared to D100) and work with the Auto Focus area. Single area, dynamic area, etc. When I looked at the pictures this morning in Nikon View, that information isn't there or I don't recognize it. All it

| Rock concert photo techniques? | 12 Jun 2006 07:07 GMT | 13 |
I'm curious what suggestions people have for shooting rock concerts at small venues. (I'm sure one regular here will suggest that I stay home unless and until I'm an expert, of course. :^) Dunno what he thinks we _should_ be doing to become expert; make cranky posts to

| OLED??? | 12 Jun 2006 04:54 GMT | 74 |
Hi. How do you pronounce it? Will just a few companies manufacture the display material itself, or will the electric print idea make it so everyone can do it, or am I confusing different ideas? This is new to me, and there's so much potential it's hard to know how to think

| Loading Philips Digital photo-frame | 12 Jun 2006 03:48 GMT | 4 |
I was transferring JPEGs to SD cards for displaying on a Philips Digital Photo Frame. The cards are 256MB and initially I loaded 60MB of files , leaving 190MB or so available, but when I attempt to transfer another 80MB, it is rejected as 'not enough room'.

| Saving digital images to iPod | 12 Jun 2006 02:10 GMT | 17 |
Just back from a month's holiday, with 2000-odd photos in the can. The can in this case is a 30GB iPod Video, which was periodically hooked to my Panasonic FZ30 with Apple's Camera Connect. As expected for an Apple product the system works pretty smoothly, but I
