Camera for Galapagos Islands21 Jun 2006 08:57 GMT9
My daughter is visiting the Galapagos islands in September and wants to
borrow my Canon 20D & lenses.  She's really inexperienced with photography
and not necessarily careful with everything.  I'm thinking of buying her a
compact camera to take and the Canon 3S IS looks like it ...

Do anti-shake feature work?21 Jun 2006 04:10 GMT19
I suck at taking night pictures.  I sometimes take pictures outdoors at
night in places that has just enough light.  I couldn't keep my hands
steady enough and that's why my night pics are always blurry.  I'm not
a camera expert but from what I understand, taking night pics means I

I don't know if this happens on other digital cameras, but with the Fuji
E550 the order of pictures on the memory stick is NOT the same as the order
they were taken.  Is there a setting that will correct this?
Thanks!!

Thanks for your input.

Mostly just your typical city tourist shots, although I like the ones I
took of the Hennepin Bridge (mostly on page 2). If you've never been to
the Twin Cities, there're a lot of cool abandoned mills that they've
turned into a park.
Olympus SP500UZ erratic autofocus20 Jun 2006 18:09 GMT12
I hope someone can help me.
I have an SP500UZ and I am experiencing erratic behaviour with
autofocus. Most of the time it is OK, but than it seems very slow (1
sec).  Also the focus point seems to jump about all over the place
What does it mean Kodak Cameras over process20 Jun 2006 18:00 GMT19
What exactly does this mean?
I had a Kodak 280 zoom and never seemed to need to have to do much tweaking
once on the PC. However I now own an Olympus 5060 and seem to need to do a
