IR photography22 Jun 2006 23:20 GMT3
I am thinking about getting started in Digital IR photography.  I am
using a Canon Reblel XT and will be using a Hoya R72 IR filter.   Does
anyone have any suggestions for someone trying to break into this area
of photography?

Help?
I've managed to talk my daughter Heather into letting me give her a

Does anyone have a Pentax istD digital SLR ?22 Jun 2006 12:37 GMT5

Small digital cameras with good wide angle coverage?22 Jun 2006 05:37 GMT9
I'm looking for a small digital camera (say the size of a Canon Elph)
but with a good wide angle range.  Ie. something that's the equivalent
of a 28mm wide angle lens for a standard 35mm camera.
My experience with vacations is that wide angle lenses make for much

I understand this is off topic here, but I'm going to ask a
tremendously dumb question:
If a roll of film goes through the washing machine and dryer (you know
for laundry, not for photography), will it be salvageable for

Problem with Minolta A1 - pictures come out 21 Jun 2006 23:18 GMT2
I have a Minolta A1 that I've had for a few years with no problems.
However, recently I used it, and even though it looked OK through the
preview, when I took the picture, it came out a series of horizontal white
and pink lines.  You can faintly see the image behind it, but it ...
