I understand it's possible to buy portable hard discs or DVD writers to
back up memory cards. However, I can't find one that is mains powered.
Anyone able to point me to a source in the UK please?

It's a Fuji finepix A345. I've tried playing in Winamp, Windows Media
Player, Windows Media Classic and even Quicktime none work. I try it on

I have my download software for my SD cards set to erase the images
after they are downloaded to the computer. I took almost 200 pictures
in Costa Rica, including my son's wedding, in Feb, downloaded and
erased the card when I got home.

Is anybody else having problems that WWMX Location Stamper truncates
some of the files to 0 bytes when adding the GPS track information to

The background is a kind of blur while the foreground is extremely

I have a PSD file that someone has sent me. Some portion of the photo
has been cut or something, I can't tell. I am not a graphics designer.
The portion that I presume has been cut has the gray colored rectangles
on it, the same look when you make a background transparent.
