| My Canon FTb has a huge viewfinder | 29 May 2006 17:29 GMT | 6 |
Just pulled it out of storage to remember back to the good old days. Bought this one in 1977. Still works perfectly. Looked through it and couldn't believe the giant viewfinder, compared to the "postage stamp at the end of a tunnel" viewfinder in my 350XT.

| Panoramics, PTGui (and maybe PS) color correction? | 29 May 2006 17:21 GMT | 6 |
Hi, i tried out an older version of PTGui, liked it and finally got around to getting it. Almost everything is great with this (newer) version (v5.8.1) but something seemed missing, it dawned on me, this version doesn't seem to have the "color correction" option?!

| Nikon D70 Question | 29 May 2006 15:18 GMT | 5 |
I have a D70 for almost a year. I shoot in Fine, Large, JPEG mode. When I open the pictures in Photoshop the rulers would display something like 30x22 (just a guess). This all of a sudden stopped, the pictures are now 10x7.5. I know I am not crazy, I have a Olympus SP-350 (8MP) ...

| Sony DSC-W100 or other PNS opinions | 29 May 2006 14:40 GMT | 3 |
I am thinking of getting this as a PNS to augment my Canon 10D. The DSLR is just to bulky to take to many places so I am looking for something compact, fast and takes good pix. My budget is $500. Ideas or opinions on this question would be appreciated. BTW, I would like an ...

Family member asked me to help in choosing a digital camera. Choice is between Casio EX-Z750 and a Canon SD600, both at Costco. I do not have the expertise to help so I solicit opinions here, please. Which one would you choose and reason.

| Conversion of 35 mm transparencies to digital images. | 29 May 2006 06:55 GMT | 12 |
Has anyone experience in this activity. I made an extension for my old film camera to hold the film at the correct distance from the lens when the full range of extension tubes had been fitted between the lens and the camera body, so that the image would just fill the frame. I then

| Canon 580ex with Olympus 8080 | 29 May 2006 04:34 GMT | 3 |
I have a Canon 20D with 580ex flash as well as an Olympus 8080 for casual use. I was wondering if I could use the 580ex on the Olympus 8080 without damage to either. I know that it would not integrate automatically with the camera settings as with the 20D,but would need to

| photo sharing service - allow sharing under different names? | 29 May 2006 04:14 GMT | 2 |
Is there a photo sharing service out there that allows you to share photo albums under different names - so that viewers looking at photo albums ("Dogs", "Cats") shared under one name could not see photo albums ("Religious", "Political") shared under a different name?

Photographers, Do You Think Outside The Box? This week I have tried for something some of my readers may or may not find a little controversial, perhaps even offensive, especially those among who consider themselves to be true artists. Never mind, a little
