I have an Olympus Digital 600 with a 256Mb card. I'm looking at storage
solutions whilst on holiday and am looking at purchasing a 1Gb card.
Whilst on the Olympus website i was directed to a 'MAUSB 300' but
cannot really tell what its function is - is it purely an interface

more NIKON D50 questions01 May 2006 16:37 GMT1
What makes the most sense in terms of bundles?
1. Buy the body and select a couple of lenses, in which case, which ones?
2. Buy A bundle, in which case should I go for the 18-55mm zoom or the
18-70mm zoom, which seem to be the common bundles?

Macro Twin Lite Canon MT-24EX01 May 2006 13:36 GMT7
Does anyone use one of these for Macro work?  If so, how do you find
it?   How does this compare with other options?  Would an ST-E2
triggering 2 remote 580x flash units work just as well?  Other ideas?

the pictures print instantly or do you have to wait an hour or a couple
days?
I just got a digital camera so I'm new to all this. I know 35mm film

Weird CF card problem: 4GB Sandisk Ultra II cards formatting as only 2GB01 May 2006 11:03 GMT30
Per the subject line,  I have a pair of Sandisk Ultra II 4GB CF cards
that have started showing up in Win Xp, Linux & on my EOS 1Dmk2 as
having a capacity of only 2GB instead of the full 4GB. Formatting them
on any of the above systems makes no difference. I've also tried

Larger sensor in compact camera01 May 2006 08:50 GMT35
I'm sure I've seen this discussed before, but I can't find it now....
Suppose you wanted a fairly compact, neat kind of camera, for use at
times when your SLR was too big, heavy, and noticeable. Said camera
would still be required to produce good quailty and be controllable, so
Does Nikon 105mm f/2.8D micro do internal focus?01 May 2006 04:39 GMT5
Sorry for the basic question.  Couldn't find the answer, not even on
Nikon's site...
Does the Nikon 105mm f/2.8D micro do internal focusing (allowing the
overall lens length to remain constant throughout the focal range)?
beginner's question on digital vs film SLRs01 May 2006 04:24 GMT56
I'm planning to take some photography classes in the fall at my local
community college and i've been having trouble deciding whether to
start with a film or digital SLR camera. the only real appeal i see
with digital is that any mistakes i make while learning won't cost me
