Looking For A Good Quality LCD Monitor For Photo Editing02 May 2006 14:21 GMT2
I'm looking for a good quality 19" LCD monitor for photo editing. What are
you using and how do you like your monitors? The internet website reviews of
monitors seem good but I'd like to hear from real users. Thanks in advance,

Epson Printer Profiles02 May 2006 09:53 GMT7
I've spent days trying to get my Epson R300 to print a somewhat
accurate gamma level.  Every photo I print is coming out really dark.
I've carefully calibrated my 23" Apple LCD.  I used recommended
settings in Photoshop 7 (Source Source: Adobe RGB (1998), Print Space:

How do you determine the useful longest exposure time with your digital
camera or the digital back?
With films, I check the color shift and dynamic range to decide that.
With the digital camera, I assume the color shift and the dynamic range

Nero alarming behaviour02 May 2006 04:06 GMT6
Not trusting hard drives, I burn my digital photos to DVD+R as soon as
they're on my computer, and back up that DVD monthly.  I usually don't
keep the shots on my hard drive after burning them.
Upon opening Nero EXpress (6.3.1.25) in preparation for a backup burn,

Battery Charger Capacity Question01 May 2006 23:15 GMT9
I bought a Lenmar Pro32A charger and a 20 pack of 2500 capacity AA
batteries.
The charger says to use with batteries with up to 2300.  If I put in
higher-capacity batteries, will it fully charge them but take longer,
need the USB cable for Canon SD200?01 May 2006 23:06 GMT5
I lost my USB cable to connect the Canon SD200 to my PC. I'm debating
whether to get a replacement USB cable or just a flash card reader. Two
questions;
1. Is it a Canon proprietary cable? Or is it standard (the end that

photoshop 4 question (newbie)01 May 2006 19:26 GMT7

there is a fairly thin horizontal white line running through the forehead.
I've tried using the healing brush, but it still looks touched up. Any

Flash for 20D - 430EX or ?01 May 2006 18:06 GMT3
I am looking for a flash for my 20D.
I'm leaning towards the 430ex.
What other options should I consider?
The 580ex is too much, both in features and price, for me.
