Next camera help08 May 2006 14:45 GMT9
Right this morning my first digital camera, a Sony DSC - P43, is giving
me a weird white screen. I can still take photos using the viewfinder
but I'm taking this as a sign to maybe upgrade my camera.
I enjoyed fiddling with some of the basic adjustment features but I

time for a new 23"-24" monitor & calibration08 May 2006 10:05 GMT2
My Sony 500PS is gradually ceasing out. It's about time to think about a
new monitor. I was about to buy the Dell 2405FPW but considering
spending that much money, it'd be wise to get the upcoming 2407, which
has HDCP. However, I read some early comments that like it's 20" ...
Aperture 1.1.1 released08 May 2006 09:35 GMT3
Most reports are that it runs somewhat faster and the white balance
works better. A version 1.2 is supposed to be in the works that will
address the more serious user issues.
I guess that firing the original development team was the right thing

Miinmum shutter speed with hand08 May 2006 04:47 GMT12
With dSLR cameras (under Manual or S mode), what is the minimum shutter
speed to take pictures with hands and without blurring subject?   I thought
1/100 sec would be safe.   Is that correct?  Craig
Should I buy Refurbished Nikon D50?08 May 2006 02:17 GMT4
After doing much research I have decided to go with the Nikon D50
(combination of having a couple nikon lenses and price).  Should I buy
a refurbished or a new camera?  Sites say the refurbished are up to
standards and like new.  Truthfully what is the difference?
