Rechargeable lithium CRV3 performance?10 May 2006 17:18 GMT4
I see these from time to time and noticed they seem to have rather low
capacity.  Like 1200 mha.  NIMH seem to be around 2500 or more.  But
what about real world performance?  And are they light like most
lithiums?  Has anyone tried them?  Note:  this is regarding rechargeable
megapixals versus digital zoom10 May 2006 15:34 GMT15
I am about to buy new camera. In the SLR world I used zoom lenses alot.
Yet it occurs to me that more megapixals enables  quality enlargements
much as great digital zoom power does. What would be difference in
quality of photo? Which is more important to buy--higher megapixal or
Question USB tansfer or card reader?10 May 2006 13:49 GMT11
Just want to get a sense of what most folks do with their DSLRs,
transfer via USB cable or a card reader, given the larger files? I am
very curious to know just how robust the camera is to repeated removal
of the media and whether or not the contact points might wear prematurely.

1. I decided that I would be happy to have such a good camera as Konica

Digital camera around 200.10 May 2006 04:21 GMT7
I'm looking for a pretty decent cam that can take somewhat decent video
as well. I'm not looking for top of the line video, but good enough to
watch on a pc. I am looking for really good quality pics, though. I
won't do anything bigger than 8X10. I had a kodak easy share but it's

Reduction In Quality With UV Filters?09 May 2006 23:38 GMT19
Can UV filters cause a reduction in image quality.  Afterall, even the cheap
ones are more or less just clear glass, and they will be so close to the
lense that I doubt any very slight defects will be visible in the photo.

I'm going to be buying a 70-300 for my digital d-50.  I don't want to go
above about $350.  Any recommendations?  Is the Nikon lens better than the
Sigma?
