Do you fiddle and tweek to fit your eye, or do you let the white

Has anyone ever heard of or used this brand? It's under $100 for a 4GB
card. Am I just asking for a Microdrive full of tears if I get it?

Are There Canon Fake Canon 'L' Lenses?12 May 2006 22:23 GMT10
Is there such a thing as 'fake' Canon 'L' lenses?  If so, is there a way to
confirm whether you have bought a genuine 'L' lens?
I have just bought an 'L' lens (70-200 2.8IS), but have not been blown away
with it in my first 100 shots.  Maybe I need to spend some more time with it
Nikonians.org FRAUD12 May 2006 22:03 GMT21
Anyone familiar with the Nikonians.org site? It's run by a bunch of control freaks who kick off anyone that dares to question their censorship. the censorship isn't about inappropriate images, it's about criticising the moderators. the claims it's about artistic expression are ...

Is it true that everytime you re-save a Jpeg file
(for example after editing it) you lose quality?. If so, is this
quality loss noticeable to the human eye?. I am asking because I often
re-open old photos saved in jpeg format to do extra colour/lighting

Is there an adapter that allows older Canon (manual focus) lenses to
be used on an EOS (esp. digital) Canon SLR (in manual focus  mode of

lenses.   Thanks.

RAW images...12 May 2006 10:23 GMT81
Okay...I now have my first digital SLR (Canon D20) and am struggling to
understand the advantages of using the RAW format as opposed to TIF or JPG.
I know the basic concept in terms of how the RAW images contain essentially
"raw" data and not compressed.  But, my camera and ...

I am wondering if anyone can suggest a way of removing fringing from an

with the sun behind me, yet it was a very hazy day and I see notable
cyan and purple fringing on the left and right sides resp. of the
