Got a problem with my Epson 1280 Printer; Alternating green and red lights27 Apr 2006 13:49 GMT3
I put in a new color ink cartridge and got rewarded with two blinking
lights.  Also, the printer head that holds the ink cartridges won't move at
all.  The head is stuck to the right.  I called Epson and the person that
answered didn't seem to know that much, but said it was ...

Maybe silly question - Circ Polrz Filters27 Apr 2006 13:40 GMT3
With a digital camera (D50) I know I have to buy a "circular" polarizing
filter.  But what does that mean exactly?  Are the polarizing "lines"
concentric circles?  Does it mean that if I turn the filter there is no
change in the effect on the reflections like my old film ...
20D vs 30D in price27 Apr 2006 12:27 GMT14
I just had my 20D stolen and have to replace it (along with all accessories,
lenses, etc.)  I have depreciation + deductible to face with the insurance
claim.  Is there $300 worth of difference between the 20D and the 30D?  I
was perfectly happy with the 20D.  It looks like the ...

I have a Sony DSC W1 and I am having a problem with it.  All the

with lens cleaning paper and I cannot see anything on it.  The spots
ruin the pictures but are usually only visible when I use a lower speed
lenses for canon30d-advice please.27 Apr 2006 09:02 GMT12
I have a couple of AF lenses which I used with the non digital Canon SLR.
Do you know if they can be used on the 30D on place of the EF lenses.?  They
seem to fit o.k. but I am not sure if they would damage the camera.

digital camera questions27 Apr 2006 08:11 GMT5
I'm thinking of upgrading my current digital camera, which is a Casio Exilim
Z40 which is a great little camera but getting a bit dated.
I'm amazed at the fact that you can get a 8MP compact digital camera for as
little as a couple of hundred quid but I want to understand what the ...

I've had some Energizer 2500 mah NiMH batteries for about a year. They
have been charged with a Maha MH C401FS charger on the slow setting.
Lately I've noticed that they appear to be loosing charge very quickly.
They have not been cycled an extraordinary number of times, certainly

Digital Camera Color Correction27 Apr 2006 04:54 GMT1
My Canon A610 point and shoot picture colors are never 100% accurate. For
instance, If I take a picture of my gray card in the sun or clouds with the
camera set to "auto", the gray card has a minor shade of blue in it. This
leads me to believe the rest of the picture is slightly ...
