Does any one have a 720 SW?
I want to buy one, but I need to know how the pictures come out first,
so, if anyone have a 720 SW, can you post some pictures please?

Our JVC GR-D33U Camcorder is coming up on two years since my wife and I
purchased it, and all of a sudden the LCD monitor has begun acting up

Basically, we get horizontal, white bands on a darkened (black)

I was 1-click from ordering the FZ30 at BH but wanted to double check
the pana web site support area...then  I read about the new TZ1,I had
to read the discription several time's since I couldn't believe it was
almost mirroring the specs of panasonics highly rated FZ22/30 series

I'm using a Canon 5D with a 580EX flash and the 2nd (rear) curtain
sync does not work.  I've RTFM on both, checked all the settings, and
it doesn't work.  I was planning to use the flash mostly in Av mode
taking advantage of the pre-flash when appropriate... tried other

My mother owns several Minolta X-700s, which she refuses to give up.
Is there a way to convert them to digital?

Would someone please give me the formula you use to figure out how many
digital photos you can get on a memory card?  I know it has to do with the
camera's pixel whatever-you-call-it.  TIA.

For any 'DL owners...
Does your camera operate on Alkaline cells (per the users manual)? Mine
won't (I get the blinking battery empty indicator), but it does seem to
be functioning on NiMH cells.

Everytime I do a screen capture, I have to run photoshop to crop, then save
the file as jpeg.
Starting photoshop takes too long. Is there a smaller (and free) app that
can be used to crop and save a jpeg file faster? I tried GIMP, also takes a

I have this big panorama of SF that I've asked about a couple of times
here. One more question! I'd like to print it out at 78x12". I don't
have my own photo printer. Does anyone know of a service that can print
any size photo like this? If so, are you happy with their results?

I have a 1GB SD card and a Nikon D50 - everything was great for a month
or so - then when I turned on the camera it said "card was not
formatted".  I used the camera to format it - all was fine until a few
hours later - not formatted - then it won't format at all in the camera.
