| Batteries for a Dimage Z5 | 09 Apr 2006 09:32 GMT | 8 |
I just looked at the owner's manual for my Dimage Z5 and it says to use only alkaline and NiMH batteries. I suppose the higher voltage of one-time-use lithium cells could be a problem but why not NiCD? Has anyone used a Dimage Z5 with one-time-use lithium cells or NiCD

I need to make some smaller prints to send to friends in Japan and can't find any 3 1/2 x 5 options in all the online shops I frequent (kodakgallery, shutterfly, snapfish, yorkphoto). Anyone know of a site where I can get the smaller prints I need?

| Small, waterproof digital camera for the outdoors? | 08 Apr 2006 19:17 GMT | 42 |
I'd like to buy a small, waterproof digital camera for camping and backpacking. I'm not planning to dive with it, but it's likely to get wet even in a case, and it needs to be robust as it'll be attacked to a rucksack.

| Images for testing stitching software | 08 Apr 2006 13:47 GMT | 15 |
There has been a lot of discussion on the relative merits of different stitching software. I thought it might be useful to have a set of test images that people can run through different stitching software so we can compare how each does with the same input images.
