Sony Monitors with X-Brite11 Apr 2006 08:06 GMT6
Anyone using the Sony monitors with the X-Brite coating or whatever the
technology is.  I was fixed on getting a new Mac monitor but was
waiting for work to pick back up when today I ran across a Sony monitor
with an exceptionally brilliant screen.  Sales rep said it was called

Lost the manual - how do you shoot in macro with this lens?  Is the

I have this camera, bought in Japan, but have mislaid accessories and

A grant, a grant, my Pentax for a grant.....11 Apr 2006 04:28 GMT17
According to the Pentax forum on DP Review (from which I've, once again,
been banned by Uncle Phil) Pentax have sold about 250,000 dslr's since the
introduction of the *istD
Which compares rather meagrely with Canon's 125,000 units per month.

At first sight I thought the sitting one was pointing at someone or
something and making fun of 'em, whereas the one on his back couldn't
stay up from laughing so hard.
Nikon D-50 Playback and Zoom question11 Apr 2006 00:38 GMT2
On the Nikon D-50, you can crop and zoom the photo with the command dial.
My question - once you do this, and have a nice close up - how do you save
it?  I locked the photo so it can't be deleted, but it doesn't save the
zoomed/cropped photo - I know I'm doing something wrong.  ...
Richie is a Naughty Pedophile Bum11 Apr 2006 00:26 GMT8
The question has been answered. Scoville's mother did NOT have any
children that lived.
Poor Richard Morton Scoville. Convicted for sexually abusing "a minor
under the age of 13".
Stolen Photos10 Apr 2006 23:07 GMT46
I have seen this topic discussed before but don't remember exactly what was
said, so I am asking for a rerun.
I just found a website using my photos without my permission or knowledge.
I have sent an email to them explaining that the photos are mine and I wish
Is 50 ISO even real?10 Apr 2006 22:20 GMT7
Or is it just "cut the voltage" in order to allow slower shutter
speeds, wider lens openings,
etc?  Most cameras show no improvement going from 100 to 50 and a
couple I've read about
Flash usage with birds in flight10 Apr 2006 22:18 GMT1
Given the limitations (as I know them i.e. flash synch and shutter
speed limitations), how do people take dawn and dusk shots of birds in
flight with an external flash unit and not just get blur?

Canon 30D and Photoshop RAW converter10 Apr 2006 20:04 GMT11
I just found out that Photoshop CS does not recognize RAW files from the
30D. Still no new RAW converter at adobes web-site... or have I missed it?
