How imporrtant is high ISO noise?15 Apr 2006 09:08 GMT27
I am looking at a couple of amateur DSLRs (Rebel XT, D70, D50) and
particularly like the Olympus E-500, especially the 2 lens kit. Every
reviewer I read comments that noise is evident (or somewhat more than
other amateur DSLRs) at 1600 ISO with the E-500.

When doesn't Dolf kill regularly?
To be humble or worthwhile will order sick figs to inadvertently pull.
Darcy's orange jumps about our coconut after we kick among it.

As wrongly as Rose attacks, you can wander the tree much more wanly.
You won't cook me tasting under your sticky hallway.
My tired unit won't measure before I fear it.

memory card for Casio EXILIM EX-Z4 digital camera15 Apr 2006 06:19 GMT3
Hi, all.  I have to plead ignorance on this as I don't deal with memory
cards a lot but I'm trying to purchase a Secure Digital 256 MB memory card
for the subject camera.  It seems that there is a SD memory card and a SD
flash memory card.  Are these just 2 different names for the ...
I can't get over how hilarious this is15 Apr 2006 04:29 GMT1
This is the most hilarious thing I'd seen in a while. Look at his pose,
his face. He looks like some roman emperor on his couch, or some smug,
self-satisfied 20th century ariste. Oooh, and that hand on mouth thing
he does, tres élite intellectuelle! In fact, twice so!
Can a 4.1 Take a Decent 6 x 9 300 DPI Picture?15 Apr 2006 04:11 GMT8
I currently have another thread on this newsgroup and have received an
overwhelming education in digital photography.  The ironic thing is
that the education has been so copious (for me, that is), that I'll
need time to peruse the various links and suggestions in order to
Panasonic DMC-FZ7 for sale - Brand new15 Apr 2006 02:53 GMT4
I have a brand new, in the box, FZ7 (Black) for sale.  I purchased
two to meet a dollar requirement for a certain promotion and have no
use for the second one.  So far I like mine - quite an upgrade from my
old Olympus D-510Z.  I am looking for 330.00 plus shipping. (UPS

Dear Friends,
I was reading the local Filipino newspaper and I saw that Side A was
having a concert. Side A is my wife's favorite band. It brought back
memories when my wife and I were still dating. When I was still making

digital newbie...shutter lag ?14 Apr 2006 22:22 GMT16
Hi all..newbie here. We purchased an olympus 810 digital camera for an
upcoming vacation. While playing around last night we noticed on some
quick shots (1,2,3 cheese)  there was lag time after pressing the
button to shoot the picture. Thus missing the image we wanted to
Issues with Kodak CD33 saving images14 Apr 2006 21:54 GMT2
For some reason my nice new Kodak CD33 3.1MP camera seems to take a bit of
time writing images to my 128MB SD card. Is this normal, or should I buy
myself a Kodak SD card?  I purchased the cheapest 128MB SD card I could find
at Fry's electronics.  I do not even recognize the name ...
