I had a problem with dark digital pictures on my Canon A520. I had tried
different exposure settings, still did not work out properly. I always had
to go into Photoshop Elements and

f value and shutter speed : what is the relation as a mathematical expression?16 Apr 2006 21:00 GMT25
I would like to understand how much faster my shutter speed could be
letting in the same amount of light with a faster lens.
For example, for a particular shot I used an f 2.8 lens and a shutter
speed of 1/50.
Sony F707 with external flash16 Apr 2006 20:29 GMT4
I want to use an external flash with this camera in order to get better
results than are possible with the built-in unit. I know this is possible
but the manual has no information. Can I use a flash other than Sony's
model? Any information will be appreciated.
INTERNAL MEMORY vs. STORAGE MEDIA vs. TRANSFERANCE16 Apr 2006 20:20 GMT9
Hi Everybody . . .
I'm finally getting serious about this DC and wonder if you experts could (again,
sorry) help me to narrow down some of the features I need.  If you'll recall my
earlier posts to this group some months ago, I am clueless as to cameras, so please
Qimage, etc: What DPI is best?16 Apr 2006 20:07 GMT6
I have some 3MP images. I want to print them to 11x14 or 16x20. If I enlarge
these images in Qimage and specify 300DPI, then there is quite a bit of
enlarging going on. (i.e. the 3MP enlarged for 16x20, 300DPI is suddenly
20MB...). Is this degree of interpolation going to have ...
A70 still $299 most places :(16 Apr 2006 19:33 GMT2
a few weeks ago I saw the Canon A70 at a local Best Buy for $249.99, but
that must have been a glitch in the matrix or something, since the
online price was 299 and also other BB stores sold it for 299 that week.
anyway, long story short, the A80 is out, there are other cameras ...

I'm going on an overseas holiday with the family next week and I really need
help with choosing a camera.
I have been following this group for weeks now and getting lots of valuable
information but not enough to make a decision.
Where to get Prints???16 Apr 2006 18:32 GMT1
I'm trying to get large size prints (24x36in). I have a large enough
size digital file, yet I can't seem to find a printer that is able to
handle any request. I've tried Snapfish and ofoto, but those just
compress whatever digital you send their way, which destroys the
Time & Date overlay software?16 Apr 2006 18:29 GMT3
Can anyone help please?
I am trying to find a way of adding the time and date information on to an
image taken using a Fuji  FinePix 6800z. Does anyone know of any software
that extracts the headers and places the data on the image?
Been hearing and reading alot about digital being the death of Medium Format..16 Apr 2006 18:25 GMT8
I don't understand all this but some ads say some digitals are better
or give you the same thing as medium format.  I know that MF sales
have been flat for some time and every mfg is looking for ways to make
a profit.  Maybe MF needs to go digital or is that possible?   Lots of
