Sony DSC 717 Problem, please help17 Apr 2006 19:37 GMT14
Howdy,
My Sony 717 (about 2 1/2 years old) started behaving very weirdly
yesterday.   A couple weeks ago it was working perfectly and I took
several photos, one of them in the link below:
Online libel?17 Apr 2006 19:27 GMT13
I'm not a regular in here, but caught the tail end of the usual
trashy usenet comment/flame posts, so decided to look up the
subject of defamatory posts, it seems it is a clear cut case of
libel? And many, many successful cases brought for online libel.

Printing question17 Apr 2006 18:52 GMT1
Hey Folks
I use an Olympus C765, a Dell Latitude x300 laptop and an Epson Stylus
Colour 760 printer. The printer is old but reliable and good enough quality

should get a high-end P&S (7 to 8 mprange), or a year or so old 6mp dslr,
that will still be in good condition.

Issues with Kodak digital camera saving images17 Apr 2006 10:32 GMT23
For some reason my nice new Kodak CD33 3.1MP camera seems to take a bit of
time writing images to my 128MB SD card. Is this normal, or should I buy
myself a Kodak SD card?  I purchased the cheapest 128MB SD card I could find
at Fry's electronics.  I do not even recognize the name of ...
Digital Vs Film17 Apr 2006 09:56 GMT11
I started out like most 'old school' photographers in a B&W darkroom.
Developer and Fixer chemical smells filling the tiny red lit
environment that felt normal until you walked outside into the real
world. The fumes went away but so too did the beauty of the image you

Anyone dabbled in HDR techniques?17 Apr 2006 04:29 GMT2
Just came across this technique while browsing Flickr.
Further reading suggests its 3 of the same picture taken at different

amazing results.
Any experiences with OneCall or 17th Street?17 Apr 2006 03:07 GMT4
Here's my deal. I would normally go to B&H or a local place for this.
I'm looking to buy a second SB-800 flash. I have some Amazon gift
certificates, so I figured I'd get it online.
Adorama has an Amazon presence, but they don't offer the SB-800. Amazon
