I've mostly used compact cameras in the Canon Powershot lineup but I
also owned a Nikon D100 DSLR for a few years during college.

I just want the shadows and darker parts to be lighter.
E-300 Bent CF card pin19 Apr 2006 04:03 GMT8
I think one of the pins on my E-300 got bent.  I put in a new card, and it
said card error.  Looked in there, and there's a bent pin.  Is this
something that requires me to send it back to Olympus, or should I take it
apart myself?
What an interest in holidays.19 Apr 2006 03:08 GMT2
Wow, the number of individuals that jumped on the band wagon re the B&H
closing for a holiday exceeded the number of replies that individuals had to
questions related to digital photography. Should there be another news group
related to this matter?
Why doesn't Iran build a facility like Cheyenne Mountain?19 Apr 2006 02:32 GMT4
Or North Korea? Why do they build out in the flat desert? Can't they
find a big hill or mountain somewhere and tunnel underneath that? I
read once it would take a close 1-5 MT hit CMOC/NORAD to knock it out
of commission, or at least off of the giant springs it sits on.

I want to see pics instantly on my laptop - how?18 Apr 2006 18:06 GMT3
I am using a Nikon D70 in an amateur studio environment with a black
backdrop and a softbox for lighting.   I am tired of thinking the lighting
