Digital to Cyanotype22 Apr 2006 18:06 GMT1
The negative for this print is pure Black and 'White' (transparent) the

Sony Mavica Floppy cameras22 Apr 2006 17:18 GMT8
Yesterday I was at a wedding and ran into a individual still using the
Mavica. We chatted, and he told me that he for a number of reasons prefers
the older Mavica to any of the newer cameras (which he said he has tried).
He said that he likes the large screen, the powerful and ...
Camcorder22 Apr 2006 15:43 GMT4
On second thoughts,
I would rather not scrape the barrel.  I would prefer to buy a camcorder
tomorrow, and concentrate on the digital camera later, so £500 for a
camcorder, any tips?

I have a inspiron 2200 laptop.  I want to buy a digital camera from which I
can download pictures onto the laptop.  I am not that savvy about this and

before I go and buy the wrong thing and have to return it? ...

My sister bought this camera and it seems a little complicated.  Also,

Thanks

Splurge on a Canon S3 IS?22 Apr 2006 11:54 GMT22
My Canon PowerShot S1 IS is still going strong, even though
the EVF cover fell off (couldn't find it) after a few months.
I've tried using it for outdoor shots, where it does pretty well.
It's been used a lot for indoor sports.  It rather sucks without
Canon and photography.22 Apr 2006 10:51 GMT17
Going back to my 35mm days, the Canon AE-1 was the very most
popular SLR in America. Even though I owned a Pentax ME Super,
I always admired the superior images produced by the Canon Camera.
Back then, we did not have internet reviews and user reports.
.jpg files to Photo disk format22 Apr 2006 10:37 GMT5
Can you convert random .jpg file to a photo disk
that can be developed at a store?   Or is it just
better to buy a good printer and glossy paper and print
them out on a PC?
Pentax DS or Nikon D50?22 Apr 2006 09:19 GMT1
That's the question.
Which one to buy? Or maybe something else?
Yes I was on dprieview.com

I am a 25-yr-long amateur 35mm hobby photographer, looking to move

tripods, plus Minox compact. I have ditched the darkroom and scan all

Which digital camera?21 Apr 2006 21:18 GMT15
I've managed to drop my Sony DSC-P92 on it's extended zoom lens, and
it's now making a worrying grinding noise when I try to turn it on or
off.
The lens no longer moves at all, and it won't take a photo......I
