I posted a couple of days ago about this. I ordered an SB-800 from 17th
Street Photo via Amazon on Sunday afternoon. I got mail from Amazon
saying that they estimated shipping on April 19 (standard shipping). It
arrived today! Everything was in original, sealed condition and ...
Schools Out23 Apr 2006 23:06 GMT2
Hopefully when Spring break is over, the kids that can't find personal
relationships to enjoy over the break will be busy back at school bugging
their teachers and disrupting the class rather than posting meaningless
gibberish messages.

Digital Camera White Balance, Colors,  Gray Card23 Apr 2006 21:53 GMT3
I'm new to digital cameras and gray cards. My Canon A510 seems accurate
about 90% of the time in colors weather I use auto white balance or one of
the preset white balances.
As an experiment, I printed out a gray card on my printer. I used windows
Canon EOS 20D for sale23 Apr 2006 21:20 GMT14
My Canon EOS 20D (U.K version) is still in a perfect condition, with around 3000 shots taken (I think shutter durability is around 80 000 - 100 000), so it's still got a long way to go. The sale includes the original box, Photoshop Elements 2, Photo Professional and all the ...

What quick release system23 Apr 2006 15:45 GMT4
I have a couple of tripods, a monopod,  a couple of digital cameras,
an old film SLR, a flash that I sometimes want to mount remotely on a
tripod, etc. I'm finally getting annoyed enough to start looking for a
quick-release system  so I can move things around more easily.
Resurrect Old Flash Slave?23 Apr 2006 13:05 GMT5
I have an old flash slave that I got for my SLR in...ohhh...1987. I had
switched from a "fixed" angle flash to a flash with a rotatable head, and
got the slave as a way to use my old flash as a second light source. I
didn't use the slave flash much in the last ten years because the ...
