what mode ,settings are you guys using with the 580ex for weddings ?
auto,manual ettl II ,exposure compensation etc .
i have used manual (20d 24-70 2.8l, 16-35 2.8l ) on the speedlight and
the camera checking the histogram powering up the flash or lowering it

Anyone that shoots with this that can comment on the shutter
lag.  I am in paricular interested in the shutter lag with
a pre-focused lens (S1->S2 in dpreview terminology).
