Which softwares to view all photos in a timeline?25 Mar 2006 19:10 GMT5
With Photoshop Album 1.0.50 I can view thumbs of all my photos, *from
different folders, in different partitions*, in a single viewing
window, organized in a timeline by day. But it is slow and now chokes
on 15 thousand photos. I have about 25 thousand pics.
Converting a digital color photo to black & white25 Mar 2006 18:20 GMT10
The goal is to emulate the sort of black & white print that comes out
of silver darkroom processes. The first step is to convert the color
photo produced by a digital camera and convert it to the kind of black
and white image that was produced by using something like the zone
memory card25 Mar 2006 15:53 GMT4
Has anyone experienced a situation with a good sized empty memory card
(512MB in this case) taking an inordinately long time to capture an image
and reset to take another image. (almost 7-8 seconds between photos). This
happened to me on a Canon A520 with new batteries. Should I ...

Incorrect memory reading25 Mar 2006 04:14 GMT4
I have the Canon PowerShot S1 IS camera and it is now started causing
problems. The problem is even after formatting the memory card and then
taking 1 photo it says that
it has used 17.5mg of the 32mg card, I then just open the memory flap
RAW conversion color problem25 Mar 2006 04:01 GMT14
I have a color problem when converting RAW files in Photoshop CS2 (Camera
RAW plugin 3.3). I'm fairly new to all this RAW/color management stuff (have
been shooting JPEGs up to now), so it's possible I'm missing something
obvious.
Some early morning shots with the S225 Mar 2006 02:44 GMT2
Here are a few pictures taken in my back yard this morning
with the S2.  As I sit behind the computer in the morning hints of
what is happening over the lake and ocean drift in from the east
facing window. When it looks promising I go downstairs and slip into a

Hello, denizens of rec.photo.digital.  I wonder if I might benefit from
your expertise.
I am a fairly experienced photographer, mostly using a twin lens reflex

Casio NP-40 Battery Compatible with Fuji NP-40?24 Mar 2006 14:33 GMT1
The Casio battery seems to have a greater capacity than the Fuji and I
have never seen the two mentioned together, that is, the Casio is
never noted as interchangeable with the Fuji.
I assume these are physically the same batteries and are
