In the eyepiece, I see large specks of dust/hairs, or something. I've
cleaned the lens and the eyepiece and still see it?
I suppose there is dust on the mirror.
What is the best way to get dust off of the mirror?

AxusDigital: Calling LA residents26 Mar 2006 08:29 GMT9
In my blog ( http://heim.ifi.uio.no/~gisle/blog/?p=18 ), I've noted
that certain companies run a scam where expensive cameras and other
high-tech goods are sold using untraceable and unrecoverable methods
of payment, such as Western Union wire transfer or so-called "e-gold".

I'm getting a strong hot spot (overexposure) exactly in the center of my
macro images when the lens is stopped down to small apertures and the
exposures are long. The hot spot is a small fuzzy circle and are maybe 1/2 -
1 stop overexposed.  I get the same thing on a D70 and a D200, ...

This is a follow-up to a couple of earlier threads that I started on
Hockey photography.  I previously asked for opinions regarding the
best equipment and settings to use for shooting hockey.  One of the
consensus points from that discussion was that there was no reason to
Are there any good low-end cameras?26 Mar 2006 02:20 GMT15
It seems a lot harder to find a good, delightful digital cheapo than it
was for film. Even when I had expensive film cameras I still enjoyed
picking up a good, inexpensive simple camera. There's some zen quality
to shooting with one, and shooting within its limitations, that I find
Kodacolor aged color correction26 Mar 2006 00:56 GMT7
I have some old Kodacolor prints that I would like to digitize and
correct the color.  (I don't have the original negatives.)
Does any one know of software to correct the aged Kodacolor color shift?
Tri-X emulation after the B&W from Colour post above25 Mar 2006 21:51 GMT6
Tri-X emulation.
Cover the image with Noise, use Threshold to convert it to just Black and
just White, nothing in between.
You can also use, Grayscale, Bitmap, Diffusion Dither and fiddle with the
focal length 28mm to 90mm25 Mar 2006 21:20 GMT10
I am speculating of buying a used Fuji FinePix E500 digital camera
(28mm to 90mm equivalent focal length). I am a total newbie and
somewhat overhelmed with the following: is there any big difference
between 90mm vs. lets 114mm or 120mm equivalent length?
