F10 Revisited13 Mar 2006 03:49 GMT1
Been away from the scene for a bit.  Last noted that the Fuji F10 gave
incredible low/existing light performance for a compact.  I remember
some degree of higher ISO peformance.  I've viewed some stunning
photos taken with that camera.  How does the current crop compare?
Memory cards are cheap now13 Mar 2006 03:19 GMT9
It's sobering to see those Viking 512mb SD cards that I remember were
selling for £180 each on Amazon in the spring of 2003 are now sold for
~£10 each on Ebuyer.
I think this is good. It means memory cards are no longer an issue when

Canon 20d - was Sony DSC-R1 or not13 Mar 2006 00:38 GMT12
After contemplating the wisdom imparted in the aforementioned thread
and further research, I've decided to bite the bullet and go for the
20D (or 30D if I can wait that long and the price is right).
Now for the next question:  I'm thinking about the EF 28-135 IS and EF
Fuji lens problem13 Mar 2006 00:15 GMT2
I have a Fujifilm Finepix S602z digital camera that has somehow managed to
get a speck of dirt on the inside of the front lens.
Does anyone know if it is possible to unscrew the front ring and how ?
Is it perhaps a job for the repair specialist ?

Moon pix - what are these streaks ?12 Mar 2006 20:15 GMT19
I'm new to digital photography and very very rusty with photography in
general. I got my Pana FZ20 last week and have been taking pictures of
the moon at night. Unfortunately there's a lot of seasonal haze (a
mountain range is barely visible from 10km away). This and my lack of
Camera and Kodak Help12 Mar 2006 19:47 GMT17
I was hoping that someone here could answer a few questions I have
regarding cameras in general and possibly point me in the direction of
a good camera.
Basically, I am looking for a 4/5MP camera with 2 - 3x optical zoom
Card reader problem12 Mar 2006 18:55 GMT4
I have been having news problems with my ISP, and this MAY be a repeat,
though I didn't see it get posted first time I asked. If it is a repeat,
please excuse the fact.
We tried to download images from a 1G SD card into my wife's computer.

Microscopy with SLR.  Recommendations, Please.12 Mar 2006 17:18 GMT18
I'd like to try my hand at microscopy,
at relatively low magnifications --
probably 100x at the most.
I have Nikon SLR and Canon digital
Make gray day look sunny12 Mar 2006 17:01 GMT9
Does anyone have any secrets for making outdoor shots on a gray day
look naturally sunny?
I work with NEF in Rawshooter. Using these type of controls, as
opposed to PS, what is the best that can be done?
Printer issues12 Mar 2006 15:15 GMT9
We have a Mac G5 and a Powerbook G4, if the same file is open and printed
for the G5 and the same file is printed from the Powerbook, each photo is
different, why? Same file, same printer.
Thanks
