Canon XT and Oly b-30018 Mar 2006 15:20 GMT4
I have a Canon 350d (XT) and a Sigma 70-300 DG lens.  I also have an Oly
B-300 X1.7 teleconverter from a previous existence. My question is - is
it worth acquiring a step-down ring to connect the B-300 to the Sigma -
ther relative lens diameters are quite close. What is likely to ...

Is this "banding" or is it random noise with a pattern?
How to automatically split a single DSC-H1 multi-burst JPG into 16 smaller images18 Mar 2006 13:37 GMT1
The DSC-H1 has a burst mode which will generate a single JPG that contain 16
frames in a 4x4 format (think of the wallet sized pictures of your high
school portraits... yeah those embarrasing pictures).
When viewed on the camera, it's possible to freeze each frame but when
RealOne player  - emailing18 Mar 2006 13:08 GMT1
I have a clip from REALONE Player from my Fuji FinePix A210 that I like
to email but it is almost 9 MB and the AVI clip (60 seconds) won't show
up in my f:file.
I searched through the rec.photo.digital archives too.
Nikon Capture 4 problems18 Mar 2006 12:41 GMT1
Hey you all, I have a question if you do not mind to  much.
Its about Nikon Capture 4.3. I got it to try out with the D200 I just got. Well, it does not work. It will not "see" the camera. I know the camera and cable are ok, as another photo program sees it ok, and will download ...

17-55mm and D2X; focus is off at wide end18 Mar 2006 04:33 GMT12
Can anybody tell me whether my 17-55 2.8DX, or D2X is at fault here...
or whether this is a common problem. Using autofocus, my camera is
unable to get correct focus on a chosen point at 17mm; it appears about
sharp in the viewfinder (very hard to judge at the wide end of course),

Recommendations - online photo albums18 Mar 2006 03:28 GMT8
What are peoples experiences with the various online photo album sites?
I'm currently trying to decide which service to go for (I'm not completely
averse to paying a modest subscription for a good service).
I'm looking for something that allows full resolution photos and is easy ...
I think I will get this and I think I will get that18 Mar 2006 02:42 GMT19
I'm envious. At what price point do you have to turn to your significant
other and ask if it's OK?
