Can I stitch pictures if my camera lacks stitch mode?19 Mar 2006 10:31 GMT8
My new camera, Fuji 5200 seems to have no stich or panorama mode to
connect pictures that move across a scene. Can software alone handle
this, such as matching white balance, etc?
How much image manipulation is too much?19 Mar 2006 09:52 GMT30
-a minor amount of brightness, colour saturation or contrast changes?
-The use of garish film response or large amounts of colour to
oversaturate an image (like Velvia landscapes that look pretty but
fake as Hell)?
EXIFER - deselecting red entries?19 Mar 2006 08:33 GMT2
Any Exifer user around please?
I'm just returning to it after brief usage 15 months ago. Entries are
apparently RED when entries have been selected, e.g. via the Edit
menu. What I'm still clear about is how to de-select these? I see no
Underwater Pentax Optio 55019 Mar 2006 06:41 GMT1
I have been using a Pentax Optio 550 very happily for a few years now.
however, I want to be able to take it scuba diving (down to 10m or so).
I was originally going to go for a Ewa Marine D-AM bag, but have been
advised by a specialist shop to go for the Ewa marine D-SW. This was ...

Changing the picture size to 762x20019 Mar 2006 02:57 GMT16
I am using a template for my website that requires 762 (width) x 200
(height) pictures.  None of my current pictures are these dimensions.
When I go into JASC ( Paint Shop Pro Studio) and change my picture size
to 762x200 it looks awful.
hair loss help, grow hair again for better photos19 Mar 2006 02:31 GMT13
don't suffer hair loss and baldness quietly, there are things you can
do to combat it. Try the links at the following site as a starter for
growing hair back again:

Differences in sensor "quality"19 Mar 2006 01:00 GMT15
Back in the day, photographers would extol (or decry) the virtues (or vices)
of the various films on the market.  In reading the posts here, I haven't
noticed any discussion about the subjective quality of the various sensors
in the various cameras out there.  I suppose I'm ...
Buyer Beware Tiger direct.ca18 Mar 2006 23:35 GMT13
I ordered a 32 inch LCD TV (NIKO) on March 7th, 2006 through
tigerdirect.ca. My online account information said that the TV had been
shipped on March 10th, 2006 via UPS. I called on March 14, 2006 to get
progress information on my order and was told that the LCD TV had been
RAW files18 Mar 2006 22:47 GMT13
I recently purchased a panasonic FZ30 and was disapointed to find that the
RAW files cannot be opened with the delivered softare (arcsoft photobase 4.5
and panasonic lumix viewer, photofunstudio).  Tried to open it in PS CS2 and
found that it only has options for 8 bit and 16 bit ...
Good for Candid Shots?18 Mar 2006 22:07 GMT90
I need to take candid shots of people in public places, from about 5 to 10
feet distance, for a community web site. Most people change their facial
expressions and behavior when they realize that a camera is pointing at
them. I'm looking for a camera with a somewhat unusual ...

Hello.  I want to create a similar effect with one of *my own* photos,
as compared what was done to the photo of Elvis Presley in the following
