ROADKILL RULES !!!23 Mar 2006 02:46 GMT10
Here's a gallery I've put together from some of my "Roadkill" shots.
As you may know, a "Roadkill" shot is defined as any photograph taken
from a car window.

All in one digital camera23 Mar 2006 02:45 GMT6
I am on the hunt to find a digital camera that takes both decent stills
plus video w/sound in the less than $500 range.  I currently have a
Kodak 3mp and sony 8mm that is around 9 years old and would love to
have one unit that can do both and store at least 30 minutes of video.

Am I Missing Something... .22 Mar 2006 20:50 GMT7
So, I decided to go to digital and decided to go with a Fuji S5200. I do a
lot of rail photography and was advised that I could get very fast
continuous shooting with a nice image with it. Reviews seemed good and I
like the work others in a few rail groups submit with their S5100 ...

These two photos were taken just a few seconds apart. The first was
taken at f/4 and 1/6 second; the other at f/22 and 5 seconds.

Digital Photos - "Cannot Read Header" 22 Mar 2006 18:36 GMT5
I have some irreplaceable digital photos that were taken
at a crime scene by law enforcement (possibly on a Sony
FD Mavica digital camera) and 12 of the 13 photos will not
open. I have tried several different viewers and the best error
batch lossless auto-rotate jpegs22 Mar 2006 18:31 GMT3
I love Irfanview, except that I can't batch a job to lossless
autorotate jpegs.  Is there another program that does everything
Irfanview does *plus* batch lossless autorotate jpegs?  Or is there a
hack/way to get it to batch the lossless autorotate function?

What To Do When PS Color Proofing Reveals Problems?22 Mar 2006 17:24 GMT2
When a problem is uncovered during "Color Proofing" in Photoshop CS2,
how do I fix the image so that the printer will be able to handle the
colors correctly?  I have a specific example of what I'm talking
about that you can see here:
Canon Powershot S1 IS Memory problems22 Mar 2006 16:48 GMT5
I have the above camera and it is now started causing problems. The
first problem is if you change a setting e.g. change from Small to
Large photos and then turn the camera off and on it has lost that
setting. This happens with all the settings. Another problem is even
Mono Pod...22 Mar 2006 15:42 GMT12
I have been considering purchasing a mono pod to replace the heavy tripod
that I now use on my Canon D20.  In most cases, I would still use the
tripod...but I'm finding that I'm hiking into the back country and/or
chasing wildlife around in areas where footing is not the best and ...
Canon 70-200mm f/2L.8 IS USM Lens22 Mar 2006 15:39 GMT41
I want to get my first "L" lens and am seriously considering the subject
70-200 from Canon.  I have a 20D and take photos mainly of my wife's
orchids, my dog and scenic vistas.  The lens weighs about 3.5 lb.. I believe
and am wondering how unwieldy this is on an extended shoot.  ...
