Does anyone have the timing information for the remote commands on the Canon S1 IS? I'd like to emulate these functions using homebuilt hardware. In particular, I'd like to trip the shutter and advance/reverse the slideshow.

Hi, I just bought my first digital camera and I need a PCI card to upgrade my Dell 8200 PC to USB2 and Firewire until I build a new PC in a few months. USB2 will be used with high speed xD card reader and Firewire will be used for external HDD.

I am looking to purchase a Pentax Optio 750Z but am having difficulty locating a vender who has the cameral either locally or on line. The camera appears to still be current from Pentax's web site but it only lists vendors who carry the Pentax product line, not specific models.
