I have been trying to get new messages for 2 days but they don't
download. I always get the message "finished retrieving new headers"
At first I thought the group was down but then I realized I can

I tried Irfanview 3.98 today (with all plug-ins) but no luck. It says it
will open pdf but, so far, I can't get it to do it.
Something must be wrong in the way I have it set up.

I have an A95 P&S camera. I have heard it said that certain CF card
manufacturers have been problematic in Canon cameras. I have been using
Sandisk up to now but see a local sale on Verbatim cards and wonder if
they work well in a Canon?

When I have 6 x 4 prints made at a store I have to crop each one at the
kiosk terminal to be sure the framing is correct so it's not just printed
from the centre of the photo.  There must be a way to do this at home before
going to the store.  I have ACD See 8 and Ulead Photo ...
