| Canon PowerShot Pro 1: 2-3 foot shooting? | 04 Feb 2006 14:44 GMT | 3 |
I'm trying to shoot a subject 2-3 feet away on high zoom in AF (it's a long story). Once and a while, I get a brillant picture. I can read 'In God We Trust' off a penny. More than half the time, I get an unrecognizable blur. Is there anything I can do to help resolve this?

i want something 7+ mpixels to do panos with. i'm having major problems with my nikon 4300 and photoshop cs2. any starting points would be appreciated. apparently, some cameras have a pano mode built in, along with proprietary software that will do better than pscs2.

I'm in the throws of deciding on what inkjet to buy. I've looked all over and haven't found any pro-level, frank discussions of issues such as reliability, obsolescence, as well as quality issues for printers like the Stylus Pro 4000 vs. 4800 or R2400, etc. Are there any forums ...

| Zigview | 04 Feb 2006 04:34 GMT | 4 |
Has anyone used the Zigview on a dslr? I have an Oly E-300 which I like and am not inclined to chuck it for the new E-330, but now and then I would like the option of being able to use the camera over my head, at waist level, etc. This looks like a good compromise.

| Light tent question | 03 Feb 2006 17:35 GMT | 5 |
I'd like to start doing some still-life work, using a light tent. I've looked around a little bit at the equipment that's available and it seems that a decent light tent can be bought quite cheaply. The main expense seems to be in the lighting.
