I am rather new to digital photography. I love my Olympus 8080, but I usually shoot in the JPG mode. I have experimented with the RAW mode but refrain from using as it takes forever (10+ seconds) to save the image to memory before the camera is ready for the next shot. More

I have a Canon 300D, which has different quality setting. The lower the setting, the fewer pixels the pictures have. Since the lens always covers all 6.1 megapixels, which of the following happens when I take a low-quality picture?

In the olden days, you could go into a TV store and see a wall of CRT tubes, all with slightly different colors. Are LCD monitors more or less uniform in color representation, sample to sample, than CRT monitors?

I use picasa because it is a powerful free application. However, I do have one problem. I edit and crop the pix successfully, they fill my screen. When I e mail them the pix are too large to see on the screen, like ,maybe 5x too big.

Epson R-300. Sometime after replacing jsut the black cartridge I am getting a colorcast. Somewhat magenta in the dark greys, somewhat greenish in the midranges of a grayscale slider. No print management done by Epson drivers; all in PS. Nozzle checks all appear all right.
