Hi, Everyone. I'm trying to use my Vivitar Vivicam 4100 (4MP) to take pictures of my coins to sell them on Ebay. The camera has a macro switch, but I have yet to get a picture out of the camera that's clear. Everything I take

| Is there a "Manual" Digital Camera, the equivalent of a Nikon FM2? | 12 Feb 2006 18:09 GMT | 29 |
My (very) amateur photographic hobby has taken me through a few camera's ending up, for the last 15 years, with a Nikon FM2 (mainly used with the 24mm lens) and a Bronica ETRS (mainly with the 40mm lens) which I use predominantly use for landscape photography.

| sony dsc-p72 digital camera broken - need fix | 12 Feb 2006 17:40 GMT | 1 |
I broke my Sony dsc-p72 digital camera by dropping it. When you press the power button it starts the power on chime but then promptly shuts off. It doesn't open the lens or light the lcd. There is a red LED in the memory stick bay that flashes 2 short flashes. I figured it was

| banding problem when printing B&W-suggestions? | 12 Feb 2006 13:30 GMT | 14 |
I've recently been scanning many of my old medium format negatives with my new Epson 4990, most of them being 6x6 B&W negatives. Since I shot mostly landscape photography when using film (and because I preferred the style), many of my negatives are fairly high contrast.

| Lexmark Printer P6250 Doesn't Like JPGs from VX6700 Cell/Camera | 12 Feb 2006 13:02 GMT | 3 |
All the photo apps on my PC can open the JPGs from my Audiovox VX6700 Cell/Camera. But my Lexmark P6250 printer can't open them. (I don't have the printer connected to the PC. I prefer to use it in stand-alone mode.) There must be something about these JPG files the printer ...

I unintentionally posted this to the wrong group yesterday - I'm just getting into using Elements and have books by Scott Kelby and Mikkel Aaland. Kelby says set up the options for full colour management and Aaland says go for No Colour Management.

| I touched the sensor like a dummy | 11 Feb 2006 23:25 GMT | 12 |
Before I read the manual I touched what I think is the sensor of my Canon SLR, instead of using the blower. I touched it with the cleaning cloth that I purchased for to clean the camera with. I may have used to brush, I don't remember.
