I've recently bought a Konica Minolta Z5, which has the normal mechanical
zoom, as well as a digital zoom.
The digital zoom is a feature which I will probably use very occasionally as
the normal zoom seems to cover most situations.  But I'd like to know why

I went down the street to the Tennessee Aquarium during my lunch hour
today, armed with only my Canon 20D and the 17-40 f/4L.  This was more
of a scouting trip since I was in a hurry.  I joined up for the year so

Although I am not new to digital cameras I am new to printing LARGE
prints. So my question is this, with a 6 Megapixil camera shooting at
