Pictures whacked out?!?!?28 Feb 2006 23:22 GMT6
My wife has a Canon powershot & aSanDisk card for it. She took a bunch of
photos, put the card in her reader, looked a few (they were ok) & coipied
them to her Mac (G4, OS 9).
When she went back to look, now they are all messed up.

why does my LCD monitor show awful color ?28 Feb 2006 19:26 GMT5
I've got three LCD monitors, the color looks horrible on all of them
when I view photos taken with my digital camera.   Meanwhile, the LCD

Sell images on CD or DVD28 Feb 2006 19:26 GMT6
I am interested to know if any other photographers  agree that images
should be sold on CD or DVD not simply given away as some after

I have come across a few fellow professionals that give away a CD of
8MP vs 10MP, an informal test28 Feb 2006 18:18 GMT11
I've just placed on DIMi the results of an informal test of upsampling
an 8MP Canon 350D image to the same resolution as the 10MP (roughly)
Nikon D200. The article is here:

??  Camera Control28 Feb 2006 18:08 GMT1
I'm finding it necessary to upgrade my nine-year-old digital equipment

camera directly from within and "take" photos directly into virtually
any (m$win) bitmapped imaging program is essential. Among the reviews,

Nikon SB80DX Newbie needs help28 Feb 2006 16:46 GMT1
I am a long time Nikon user, but new to flash.  I use a cp5700 with an
SB80DX flash speedlite.  Anyone out there tell me how to use this set up to
it's best advantage.  My main question is, in TTL mode, do I still use the
settings on camera to take the photo?  Is the flash unit ...

Digital camcorder/camera combo?28 Feb 2006 15:19 GMT5
We are tired of taking both our VHS-C camcorder and our 35mm camera on
family outings.  We would like one camera that will do both tasks,
