Just bought a new Canon Rebel XT.  Just like the film cameras I used
for many years, I'd like to buy some filters for the two lenses,

How about a lawsuit against a store that sold me a broken camera, and

I've recently gotten a magazine coverdisk with some free software on it, and
I was looking for people's opinions on software for organising my digital
photos. (I have about 1000 photos.)

I'm checking out a Nikon 8700 for a friend of mine, he's not very happy with
it. The shutter response is very slow! My Fujifilm 2.0 meg camera reacts
faster.

      I'd like to buy a digital camera for use around the house in
general, and also for closeups for eBay photos.  I've been checking out
the Nikon Coolpix 3600, but it retails for $179 ( I want to spend
around $50 for a decent older used digital camera).

I am in the habit of using 'vintage' prime M42 x 1 mount lenses on my 20D.
Now canon didn't think I would be doing that and so they fitted the 20D
with a very average focusing screen.
