I was cleaning the sensor of my D50 when I somehow managed to scratch
the glass directly above it which ( I think) is the viewfinder. I still
dont know how this happened, but but it happened. Now, when I look
through the viewfinder, I can see those marks clearly, but they DO NOT

I'm considering an upgrade from a Fuji s7000 to an s9000.  Anyone have an

BTW, I've seen a write up about a "Fuji S9500".  Does anyone know anything

I was very happy with the performance of lithium AA's in my previous camera,
and I still have a lot of them left.  I just purchased a Sony dsc-s90, and
the instructions specifically say not to use lithium AA batteries.  I'm
wondering why not and what the harm would be. Thanks!

Put some photos on a CD-R and they work OK on my cheapo DVD player but on my
Philips DVD recorder they do not, it is model DVDR70.  It reads then says
ROM.
Do you think my Philips is faulty?

I have a Sony DCR-TR480 Digital8 camcorder and going nuts from trying to
install the driver for it on my Win XP Pro Packard Bell PC. I have other USB
devices install successfully, e.g. Logitech Quickcam Express, Canon
PowerShot digicam, but somehow the Sony hardware won't show up ...

A friend is going to British Guyana for a year to teach.  She would like
to take a simple P&S digicam (around £150 UK) but is worried about the

Hi all new to digital cameras and looking for a small compact camera that
can be carried in pocket, it must be able to zoom, video at 640/320 with
sound, use sd card, and be fantastic photo quality, any ides would be
helpfull.

I was wondering how long it was taking for other people to get their
replacement battery. I sent my back mid-November and still haven't
received anything.

My old flash unit, a Centon 95 which is Jessops (UK) own make worked fine
when on top of my old Canon 300D.  I have since changed to the Canon 350D
and it no longer works.
