Damn, screen is broken!06 Jan 2006 14:08 GMT1
How this happened I don't know!
I have a Pentax Optio S4i, which has been an excellent little camera.
Then a week ago I was playing in the snow, taking some photos, and
then put it in my pocket, and made a snowman. All of a sudden the
Canon battery grip questions06 Jan 2006 14:01 GMT7
Hi - can anyone give me some info regarding the compatibility of Canon
battery packs for various cameras?  Will a BG-E3 (battery grip intended for
Canon 350D) fit a Canon 300D, for instance?  Specifically, I am looking for
a battery grip for a Canon 300D that can hold AA ...

f4 IS or f2.8 lens for low light? Which is better?06 Jan 2006 05:30 GMT51
I tend to use my DSLR (Canon 300D) quite a bit indoors in low light
conditions (eg inside churches, or when travelling, in dim rooms where
flash is not permitted). For these situations, I tend to have to take
hand-held shots due to time/space constraints.
Scanner Question...06 Jan 2006 04:43 GMT6
I've been focused on digital photography for the last few years....and am
just now getting around to doing something to convert my 35mm film strips to
digital images.  I've looked at a lot of scanners in all price ranges....but
don't know how much I'll have to spend to be happy ...
Canon S80, Sony DSC-N1, Canon A620 or Sony Cybershot P20006 Jan 2006 04:21 GMT9
I recently had a tragic accident with my sony cybershot P200 (dropped
it) and am now in the market for a new camera.  I would like to hear
your opinions on the above.  I'm very interested in the Canon S80 and
hear great things about it, but I have owned a Canon S400 in the past
Rebel started rebooting with microdrive!!!06 Jan 2006 04:21 GMT11
Hey, all.
Recent scary situation with my 300D. I was walking around on a 2-day
outing in which I had no access to a computer. I had a 5GB Microdrive,
and several CF cards - 1G, 512, 256 and a couple of 128s.

Photoshop Elements question06 Jan 2006 02:19 GMT3
Is it possible in Elements (ver 2,3,4?) to work in a calibrated color space
so images on screen and on paper are reasonably accurate or is this
capability only available in the full version of PhotoShop?

More DPreview Dribble06 Jan 2006 01:38 GMT70
Another gushing advertisement for Dribble Labs has appeared on the DPreview
site - and still not one single mention of the excellent Silkypix software,
despite a stream of updates that have reinforced Silky's position as *the*
number 1 RAW converter currently available.
Display computer pics on TV - wireless06 Jan 2006 00:47 GMT4
Hi All... Is there a way to send pictures to my TV from a computer in
a different room- via a wireless network of some fashion?
If not, some company may want to invent this. (All would I want is a
thank you and 1% of the profits).
Does a Daisy have blood?06 Jan 2006 00:47 GMT10
I took this shot of what looks like a mosquito on a daisy.  I wasn't aware
that they drank the nectar of flowers.
