OCR Camera Help Please08 Jan 2006 15:03 GMT7
Looking for a camera that will be able to read characters on some thing
the size of a dime. I believe I only need a black and white camera. Can
anyone point me in the direction of a cost effective camera? Looking to
spend as little as possible but get a reliable camera. The camera ...
Image Viewers - file association necessary?08 Jan 2006 14:55 GMT14
I'd appreciate some help in getting my mind around this issue please.
Why do some programs but not others need to have specific file types
associated with them in order to display thumbnail images? My current
favourite image browser, IrfanView 3.98, unfortunately appears to be
Epson Status Monitor?08 Jan 2006 14:50 GMT15
Installed my new Epson R1800 a couple of days ago.
The printer prints, but Epson Status Monitor can't connect
to it... it searches for a minute or two and then gives up.
This would be a nuisance, except that, the status monitor
Flash Question08 Jan 2006 11:56 GMT7
I have a Canon D20 with 17-85 on its way to me (should arrive next week).  I
was given a "new in the box" Nikon SB-26 Flash Unit.  Will this work on the
Canon?  Just curious.  Obviously, I can try it when the camera
arrives...but...

I upgraded to 2.6 using both builds, but the application crashes when I
try to burn CDs.
2.5 is OK.
The drives are supported, there is a gig of RAM.

the A2?
I would prefer not to have to change lenses every two minutes...

Soon we will need some cartridges. I want to get the genuine Canon

Rant about ink costs08 Jan 2006 03:00 GMT45
I have two Epson photo printers ... the newest is a Photo R300.  The darned
thing has 6 cartridges and a full set just cost me more than half the cost
of the printer ... which came with a full set of cartridges.  I believe the
ink cartridge cost has gone up dramatically since I ...
MH-C401FS Battery charger [UK]07 Jan 2006 22:41 GMT4
Hi. First: I have a Ni MH charger that came with my digital camera. It
charges my two 1700 mA Ni MH batteries and I'm pretty sure each battery must
be in the same condition when charging, because the charger will not charge
each battery independently.

What are these cartridges07 Jan 2006 19:13 GMT1
In looking for cartridges for my Canon Pixma ip4000 printer, I noticed
mention of:
BCI-6PC (photo cyan) and BCI-6PM (photo magenta)
My manual just specifies the BCI-6c and BCI-6m.

OR
2. Keep it on
