Editing AVI file11 Jan 2006 03:05 GMT5
On a recently completed vacation, I made a few AVI clips with my P&S
digital camera.  I held the camera sideways to fit the subject area
better.  With still photos, it is simple matter with editing program to
rotate the resulting photo as desired.  With AVI clips, is there a way
Saving Movie clips in the web11 Jan 2006 02:45 GMT2
May be a stupid question but would appreciate any help. Is there any
place where one can save movie clips in the web site? It's similar to
saving the photos in Yahoo, MSN etc but with movie clips. any ideas?
Filename, caption, comment or notes?11 Jan 2006 00:37 GMT1
I'm totally new to digital photography, and also to organizing pictures
on the PC. I have settled on ACD 8.0 as my organizing tool, of various
reasons. Still, I can't find anything that explains what may be the
"best" way of naming my pictures.

Would someone be so kind as to tell me how to take pictures off my computer
and transfer them to a  card reader? Windows 98 system with a Lexar USB2.0
card reader. Taking off the card is easy just don't know how to go the other
way.
Canon or Casio - help us chose10 Jan 2006 23:10 GMT1
We need to purchase a new camera and have narrowed it down to the Canon A520
or the Casio Exilim Z110.
We use our camera for everyday picture taking and seldom develop into prints
larger than the standard 4x6.  We had a canon A75 which met with an

RAW vs JPEG: 240dpi vs 300dpi, Why?10 Jan 2006 21:59 GMT1
When I download Raw images from a Nikon D50 to PS CS2 they come in at
3008 x 2000 at 240dpi.  JPEGS come in at 3008 x 2000 at 300dpi.  I'm
using Mac's Image Capture 3.0.3 in OSX 10.4. for the dowload.  The
images view the same physical size even at the Show Pixels setting.
Olympus E-20 problem10 Jan 2006 19:43 GMT5
I own a little used E-20 that I bought over a year aga,at that timne in
perfect working condition. Because of the vicissitudes of my life, I did
not use it for most of that time. I recently loaned it to a friend, a
professional photographer, who wanted to try it out. He reports ...

Irfan View WMF Vulnerability Looks You Shouldn't Use It with Unknown Images10 Jan 2006 18:04 GMT48
I did the following.
I found a wmf file on my system, actually lots of them, in Visual Basic
6.  I guessed that I could safely experiment with them.
I copied and renamed one as foo.wmf in my temp directory.  I copied and
