OK, stupid question about picture managment programs...11 Jan 2006 13:30 GMT103
Why not just make directories of what you have? Some do it by
year/month/day; some by events; and others by task. When you download
the pictures, why not just put them into appropriate directories like,
dogs, vacations (with sub directories), nature, holidays....etc

installing panasonic digital camera on XP11 Jan 2006 11:03 GMT9
Computer is recognizing the camera through plug&play, but not installing
device drivers.  The drivers on the included-with-camera disk are not
transferring onto computer.  Also, the Windows XP drivers are not available
to transfer the pics off the camera.  What do I do next?
Receiving large photos via email11 Jan 2006 09:43 GMT6
I  have a friend who received 6 emails and at least one has photos which are
very large and seem to take ages to download. However after waiting a
considerable time the system stops at about 90% so she cannot see her emails
or the email with the photos.

I've checked the Kodak website, and they are no help.  I
(desperately) need an AC adapter for my "new"   Kodak dc 215 digital
camera.   Does anyone know what voltage and amperage I should get?  The
camera takes 4 x 1.5 volt batteries.

IPTC and Mac - scanned photos11 Jan 2006 07:20 GMT2
I'm about to embark on my first project to scan (to tiff) in a number
of family albums, and figured it would be good practice to tag images
as I scan them. I will most likely be doing this solely on the Mac, but
want to make sure that I don't go through a tremendous amount of work
