A question for the techies on this list: I have a new 400 gig hard drive that I'm mounting in an external drive case. I'd like to format this drive in an OS-acnostic format so that I can plug it into a Windoze, Mac, or *NIX computer (via USB or Firewire)

I've been working with images shot in front of a green screen and I am cutting out the background and copy the image to a template layer then printing them out on a 5 x 7 photo paper, I am looking for tips, pointers and just plain help :-)

the company i work for is looking for a new online digital photo lab. we need a lab that files can be uploaded to (with a large or unlimited amount of space), has a gallery feature and one where our customer's can order prints that will be sent directly to them.

How can I batch convert a folder full of CR2 RAW files to DNG? I can't see any way to do it from Adobe Bridge. I tried creating an Action within CS2 but that didn't seem to integrate with the Camera RAW converter. Right now I'm stuck having to convert them one at a time. Not ...

Why not just make directories of what you have? Some do it by year/month/day; some by events; and others by task. When you download the pictures, why not just put them into appropriate directories like, dogs, vacations (with sub directories), nature, holidays....etc

Computer is recognizing the camera through plug&play, but not installing device drivers. The drivers on the included-with-camera disk are not transferring onto computer. Also, the Windows XP drivers are not available to transfer the pics off the camera. What do I do next?

I have a friend who received 6 emails and at least one has photos which are very large and seem to take ages to download. However after waiting a considerable time the system stops at about 90% so she cannot see her emails or the email with the photos.

I've checked the Kodak website, and they are no help. I (desperately) need an AC adapter for my "new" Kodak dc 215 digital camera. Does anyone know what voltage and amperage I should get? The camera takes 4 x 1.5 volt batteries.

I'm about to embark on my first project to scan (to tiff) in a number of family albums, and figured it would be good practice to tag images as I scan them. I will most likely be doing this solely on the Mac, but want to make sure that I don't go through a tremendous amount of work
