Macro photography12 Jan 2006 03:50 GMT30
Happy New Year.  I'm hoping someone in this group can help me with a
basic macro photography question.  I'm not new to photography but have
never done macro work before, but got the new Tamron 90mm f/2.8 macro
lens for Christmas, as I've always wanted to get those really close up
cheap digital cameras in NYC?12 Jan 2006 03:07 GMT24
Can I expect the prices of digital cameras in NY to be cheaper than in Europe? Can you recommend a good store where I should go? (Is
there anything like the budget electronics supermarkets such as ElectroWorld, MediaMarkt, Saturn, whatever?).
Thanks!

Can't get drivers for Premier DC5085!!!12 Jan 2006 02:35 GMT3
Hi
I've got a great deal ( I think?) by buying a  Premier DC5085 ( a
general digi cam). I got it for £39.00 instead of £50.00 because it
was missing the driver disc. The camera itself works fine. I thought
Color shift having prints done at Walgreens / Target12 Jan 2006 00:31 GMT12
Strange:  I have some images I recorded in the D70 Adobe RGB ---- then got them
where I want them in PS CS2, Adobe RGB, and looking at them they look good.
Then I took them on the compact flash to Walgreens, and ..... they looked great
on the preview screen, you know on that card ...

Yesterday I made an order for some new equipment at B&H. First I got a mail
that confirmed my order. The, about an hour later, I got a message that
said:
Please be advised that your order cannot be processed due to

Fuji Finepix / Canon Powershot / Kodak Easyhare ...11 Jan 2006 21:18 GMT23
After a month of review I have finalised the following models:
1) Fuji Finepix S5200/S5600

Nikon D50  Bulb Control Via Remote11 Jan 2006 21:07 GMT3
I'm looking to do some long exposure pictures.  Will the ML-L3 remote
allow me to use the Bulb setting and hold the shutter open (like a
cable would on my old Nikon 3mm?)  That is, will it allow me to hold a
button down to do long exposures?  All the reviews I see say it is
Fujifilm S5500 vs. Sony DSC-H1 vs. Kodak DX7590.11 Jan 2006 21:04 GMT6
As mentioned in another thread, I'm just starting to venture into the
world of digital photography. I've outgrown the Fujifilm S3500 I bought
a month ago (I have a buyer for it) and am trying to decide on an
upgrade.
Clean LCD screen & the AC adapter11 Jan 2006 20:53 GMT11
Good way to keep the LCD screen free of finger prints and dust--other
than not touching them, I mean?  I've only had the camera since
Saturday, but the screen has a few smudges on it and a bit of dust in
the corner.  Best way to clean these away?
Kodak Easyshare printing problem11 Jan 2006 20:48 GMT3
I'm running Easyshare version 5.2.0, this was their latest upgrade and
I'm printing to a HP DeskJet 895Cse, Win98se. When I try and print a
2-up 4x6 to photopaper, I get a 8x10 of each print, instead of 2 prints
to each page. But what is displayed on the screen is the correct
39mp digital back from Hassy/Imacon11 Jan 2006 20:47 GMT6
Any comments on the new 39 mega pixels digital  back from Hassy/Imacon? Just
for my curiosity, how much? (if there is enough space for the number of
0s... :-)!)
Kodak DC200 error cO11 Jan 2006 20:43 GMT3
How do I fix a cO error (firmware is corrupt)?  I have a DC200 Kodak digitial
