Monitor: ViewSonic VX924...anyone using?14 Jan 2006 08:53 GMT1
My friend has this...very bright and clean. It's not color balanced or
anything but it looks great. Does anyone use this (or something
similar) for digital photography? I know it's a matter of choice, but
I have to whittle it down to a handful first :)

Canon 20d packaged lens14 Jan 2006 02:14 GMT13
Just bought a 20d body and should have gone for  the EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6
lens on offer within a package. Thought my sigma would do the job but
inconsistant working with an err 99 flashing up. Might be lens fault or just
some incombatibility.
Hypothesis: Photographing cars of various colours14 Jan 2006 02:12 GMT4
I want to photograph the cars owned by the members of a car club. The
cars are different colours of course.
What would be a good background for a variety of cars. I will have to
find a location that works for all colours

Becoming Photographer's assistant in Queensland? + Intro13 Jan 2006 23:53 GMT6
M Based on Southside of Brisbane. I really love my photography. It's
been an ongoing hobby since high-school. Now I'm happy to say that I've
finally committed to it as a long-term 'lifestyle'. I'm at a point
where I want to take it as far as I can and develop my skills further.

ceiling that was rotating during the music.  Well, some morone forgot
to shut it off, and during the ceremony the blue circles are all around

Jean-Marc Carisse , photographer13 Jan 2006 22:38 GMT2
While listening to the radio today I heard and interview with
photographer Jean-Marc Carisse and his wife regarding the opening of a
coffee cafe/gallery in Ottawa.  Carisse came across as a modest man
not wanting to talk much about his work. Google brought up his web
