PHOTO ALBUM ??19 Jan 2006 06:44 GMT6
I'm getting quite the accumulation of digital picture files on my computer.
So far, I've been using PICASA to handle the crop/clean/color, etc.
For me, it's an intuitively easy program, with just the right photo features.
But now it's time to sort the pics into different "albums".

DNG: How is it doing in the marketplace?19 Jan 2006 00:19 GMT45
I'd long hoped we'd see JPEG2000 in cameras. It looks, however, like
the cost of storage vs. the cost of portable power drains means
JPEG2000 isn't a real contender:

Moving pictures from one collection to another in Nikon PictureProject18 Jan 2006 23:44 GMT10
I'd like to be able to move a set of selected pictures from one collection to another
in Nikon Picture Project.  Since it's a MOVE, not a COPY, I want the picture not
to be in the source collection after the move.  If I do Shift while I drag the pictures to
the new collection, ...

dynamic range, and have been studying high dynamic range real
images with different raw converters.  The differences in shadow
detail are astounding.  My results imply photoshop's 15-bit
