Hi everyone, just joined because I've got a great camera, takes
beautiful pics but the file sizes are between 5 mb and 35 mb depending
on the res I set it at... no problem if I'm using my own PC but if I
want to send them over the internet then they are way too big... I was
Question about Canon IXUS 40 or IXUS 70020 Jan 2006 04:05 GMT1
I'm looking for Canon IXUS 40 or IXUS 700. I was reading user's opinion
about these two. Is it true that their LCD are that fragile (people said LCD
cracked after one week). Last week I asked one salesman about that, he said,
after 50s sold, no one had that problem.
which lens for D5020 Jan 2006 01:19 GMT13
I am thinking about getting a Nikon D50.  I own a F80 with a Nikon 24-50 (a
few years old) and the 70-300 G lens.  I've always enjoyed using the wider
angle 24 on the F80.
I'm wondering if I should keep the 24-50, or if I should try and trade or

both the effect and protection of the lense. Any one have any suggestions as

D70 lens compatability19 Jan 2006 22:46 GMT13
I just discovered that my newly acquired 50mm f/4 P lens simply will not
meter with D70's or D70S's.  The manual states that this CPU lens should
work.  It doesn't.
I'm waiting for a response from Nikon on this.
OT: Weather Channel photo contest19 Jan 2006 22:42 GMT3
I sent a photo of T.S. Arlene's outer bands to the Weather Channel's
"weather photo of the day" contest. Then I went and looked at the page.
I think the rest of the pictures on this page should be disqualified for
being lousy and not weather-related. I mean, what the hell? NO ONE ...
Ricoh Caplio R319 Jan 2006 21:59 GMT4
I was looking at advert for the Ricoh Caplio R3 camera and it seems it would
fill the bill for me.
On a limited budget of just over £200. I really want the extra long zoom
that this camera has and
Direct Printing 5 x 7 with Kodak C7330?19 Jan 2006 20:48 GMT1
Kodak has an 'easy share' direct printer, and there are a couple of
others, but my 'computer-illiterate' step-mom wants to be able to do 5 x
7 inch prints at home, and does not have a computer.
I realise there are a number of printers that will do so, and hope you
Good shot right out of the camera19 Jan 2006 20:36 GMT21
I took my Yellow Lab for her morning walk yesterday.  I took my 20D with me
with the 28-135 IS lens and got several good shots of her running toward me
when I would have her stay, walk away for about 100 feet and then say
'come'.  I kept trying to get the perfect shot of her ...
Konica Minolta photo business withdrawal news and official press releases19 Jan 2006 20:34 GMT4
It's a sad day - a great innovative camera manufacturer, let alone its
history in film and camera optics.
But at least the DSLR platform lives on with the Sony badge.
We have ongoing reports and the official press releases here:

others are my fault.
.5 wide angle lens with macro19 Jan 2006 20:20 GMT2
Camera = Digital Rebel XT
Ok, I realize that I may have the "low" quality .5 wide angle add on
lens with macro; however the following 2 problems are so bad that i'm
hoping its the operator.
Canon PowerShot A62019 Jan 2006 19:57 GMT6
I've just bought a Canon PowerShot A620 camera and I have a few
questions:
- The SD memory card that came with the camera doesn't read properly on
my home computer which has an SD slot. My husbands mobile phone also
