I'm looking for Canon IXUS 40 or IXUS 700. I was reading user's opinion
about these two. Is it true that their LCD are that fragile (people said LCD
cracked after one week). Last week I asked one salesman about that, he said,
after 50s sold, no one had that problem.

I am thinking about getting a Nikon D50.  I own a F80 with a Nikon 24-50 (a
few years old) and the 70-300 G lens.  I've always enjoyed using the wider
angle 24 on the F80.

both the effect and protection of the lense. Any one have any suggestions as

I just discovered that my newly acquired 50mm f/4 P lens simply will not
meter with D70's or D70S's.  The manual states that this CPU lens should
work.  It doesn't.
I'm waiting for a response from Nikon on this.

I sent a photo of T.S. Arlene's outer bands to the Weather Channel's

I took my Yellow Lab for her morning walk yesterday.  I took my 20D with me
with the 28-135 IS lens and got several good shots of her running toward me
when I would have her stay, walk away for about 100 feet and then say
'come'.  I kept trying to get the perfect shot of her ...

It's a sad day - a great innovative camera manufacturer, let alone its
history in film and camera optics.

Ok, I realize that I may have the "low" quality .5 wide angle add on
lens with macro; however the following 2 problems are so bad that i'm
hoping its the operator.

I've just bought a Canon PowerShot A620 camera and I have a few
questions:
- The SD memory card that came with the camera doesn't read properly on
my home computer which has an SD slot. My husbands mobile phone also
