Where professional photographers print their photos? As far as I know online print services such as Snapfish or Shutterfly don't provide ICC profiles. Although Costco profiles can be downloaded from Dry Creek Photo, still none of online sites provide many choices in paper

| Alright, here's one for ya..."Thumbs.db" files??? | 21 Jan 2006 17:38 GMT | 3 |
I've noticed this file at the end of each directory I've created for my photos. ACDSee tells me that XP is creating this file. For a 25MB directory, the Thumbs.db file is 7.5kb...nothing to worry about, but why is it there?

| Why "flower" lens hood? | 21 Jan 2006 17:30 GMT | 8 |
A "flower" lens hood is a cylinder of plastic or sheet metal that extends beyond the end of a camera lens. It has two or more cut-outs, giving it the "flower" appearance. My question is, what purpose is served by these cut-outs? In fact,

| Cheap wide-angle lens for Casio P700? | 21 Jan 2006 13:19 GMT | 1 |
I'm about to go on my hols and at the last minute I've decided I could make good use of a wide angle lens for my P700. I don't want to pay a fortune so I'm happy with a slightly ropey one, such as the ones on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7579853473

| sRGB or Adobe RGB? | 21 Jan 2006 13:03 GMT | 7 |
I am very confused by sRGB vs. Adobe RGB. I have a Canon 20D and Photoshop CS2. Both have settings for sRGB or Adobe RGB workspace. I know the Adobe is supposed to have more colors, but Canon cautions against it in the owners manual. "Design rule for Camera File System 2.0 ...
