| PROBLEM WITH LCD ON IXUS 40 AND IXUS 700 | 23 Jan 2006 09:00 GMT | 4 |
I'm looking for Canon IXUS 40 or IXUS 700. I was reading user's opinion about these two. Is it true that their LCD are that fragile (people said LCD cracked after one week). Last week I asked one salesman about that, he said, after 50s sold, no one had that problem.

What causes a "card error"? Is there anyting to be done to avoid it? I had this happen on SM cards, in a different camera, also. I was on vacation so it was frustrating.

| Casio EXILIM EX-S500 Camera Question | 23 Jan 2006 05:30 GMT | 13 |
Is this the smallest digital camera on the market right now? I've kinda gotten tired of Canon's line of Digital Elph cameras and need a change. I didn't even know Casio made digital cameras until running into them at Radio Shack a few weeks ago. I was quite impressed by the

Apart from a $12 box that lasted a couple of years, I didn't own a camera for well over two decades, and took an average of perhaps half a dozen casual snapshots a year during that period. I bought a Fujifilm S3500 a month and a half ago (sold it again and am considering a Sony

Hi fellow Candians (or Americans). This offer is quite good in that the only thing you have to do to get your camera is complete one offer. I'm sure you are all familiar with this type of deal. But this one is better because you can complete your offer by signing up with Canadian

I'm looking for a miniature camera that can focus on an object between 0.5" to 1.0" from the camera. Would anyone know if such a setup is available, or know of a way to construct one with some type of miniature macro lens of some sort? I've come across many miniature

Several reasons I's like to upgrade my 2.1MP camera (which cost as much as a 4 or 5 MP these days) are for the video with sound, and the High MP settings along with a zoom. Do all digital cameras these days record sound with video? When I

It seems like I am losing a lot of image clarity/sharpness when I convert from RAW to TIFF. The following picture was converted to TIFF and various color/sharpening tools were applied. Any constructive criticism on the work and thoughts on the RAW>TIFF loss of definition

| Adjusting the angle of the CCD | 22 Jan 2006 20:37 GMT | 7 |
Photographs I take with my Canon S2 IS rarely seem to come out level. They always seem to be out by about 0.85 degrees. I always used to blame myself, one leg is slightly shorter than the other thanks to a football accident.

| messed up my Finepix S2 with FAT32 formatted card | 22 Jan 2006 20:03 GMT | 4 |
I try to retrace what I did. But I am really troubled and confused now because I want to travel with my 2 cameras in 10 days and this is not enough time to send the S2 to repair. Anyway I am not sure if I did it exacly this way.

| Alternatives to rechargeable batteries | 22 Jan 2006 19:36 GMT | 22 |
I will be travelling in an area without electricity for two weeks. Is there a realistic alternative, non-rechargeable battery to the Canon G series lithium-ion battery BP511/512? If not, any other suggestions?
