RAW, from a IT8.7/2-1993 target?  I have one of these targets that

Still on the topic of deciding which DSLR to get. Lenses are abvously
playing a part in deciding.
I'm looking at a 28-70 zoom but know nothing of Canon or Sigma, having only
had Minolta before.

I thought I might try to fill in the gap while Bret's 20D is out of service.
