I'm thinking of getting the 6GB Hitachi Microdrive for my Nikon D200.
- is the microdrive compatible with the D200?
- any speed issues compared to CF or CFII?
- power consumption significantly more than CF/CFII?

I still do not know what a macro lens is used for? I understand it is
used with close- up pictures, what is the advantage over using a long
zoom lens? Is it about "deph of field", or magnification? Thanks

After 1 month of research on internet/reviews I got my new Sony DSC W5

This is my first digital camera. When taking pictures in the automatic,
especially of children not prone to standing still, the lag time or
delay between shutter press and actual taking of the photo means that
the kids have moved of the frame. The shot is wasted. I've tried
