My newly acquired AF-S 24-120 VR is slightly disappointing in that the zoom ring is rather stiff and jerky. It's not terrible but it does mean that I find I'm holding the camera differently to compensate. The manual focus is slightly stiff too.

A book I have bought about Photoshop suggests that a graphics tablet is very useful. Is this the case? If so which do you suggest I look at - I'd rather keep the price below £100 if possible but would pay more if necessary.
