Nikon makes wonderful cameras, but they're s---heads at writing

I use Mac OS X 10.4.3 (Server) as my OS.  Because of their decision not

Any cameras with these features?10 Dec 2005 19:39 GMT16
Currently have an olympus stylus 400 and have come across several
things I would like to have in my next camera.  From what I've seen on
the market all of these features are not yet available, or are not all
of them are available in one camera.  Looks like I'll be holding on to
Canon 20d 10 Dec 2005 18:11 GMT15
I currently own a canon G1, and a Canon Elan IIe.
In the full auto modes, the G1 and Elan consistently overexpose the subject
in flash photos.
Is this an issue with the 20d?
Integrity of Online Photo Processors10 Dec 2005 14:47 GMT4
Some online photo processors like Shutterfly.com offer calendars of
your photos. I have a number of marketable (I think) images that I
would like to have made into calendars for friends and family.
However, I believe that once you upload an image, it can then go

ebay for lenses.
I just did a little surfing over on ebay for lenses and it appears
that they can be had at a bit of a discount to retail. There are
plenty available, that's for sure. I expect there is a cost to buying

email to Canon re their 5D camera10 Dec 2005 11:06 GMT28
I was considering purchasing a 5D.
Inasmuch as I had a bad experience with trying to get my digital Kodak DC290
repaired, I thought I would ask Canon a few questions first.

Pictures from the Canon S210 Dec 2005 09:49 GMT6
Had the S2 for a couple of weeks now.  A few landscape shots
here: http://members.accesswave.ca/~parklane/thumbnails.html
I found that manual focus was generally necessary in these
shots.  Exposure was set by experimentally locking on different areas
dcraw raw conversion versus photoshop cs210 Dec 2005 06:41 GMT2
I've seen comparisons that put dcraw raw conversion image quality above
that of many commercial raw converters. I must say that as far as I can
see and on default settings I'm getting much better results from cs2
than from dcraw.
Minolta Lens10 Dec 2005 03:12 GMT3
I have 2 Minolta 35mm Camera's 700si & XTsi with a number of lens for
those cameras. My questions is will these lens work with Minoltas new
Digital SLRs. From the web site it seems that you would have to buy new
lens for these camera's. Is this true?
