Canon D50 & SanDisk 2Gb Utral II SD Card11 Dec 2005 15:17 GMT2
I read a review where the SD Card was not compatible with the Canon
SD500 the User was trying to use it in. It got me wondering, would it
also be an issue for my D50.
So, I am trying to find out - has anyone used (or tried to use) a 2Gb
Ml3 Ring Flash and Rebel XT11 Dec 2005 15:01 GMT1
I went to use my ML3 flash on my DRebel XT the other day and could not
get it to fire. My 420EX works fine and my ML3 work on my Elan7. I was
wondering if this was a Hotshoe problem or something fore sinister

Comparing D2X to Canon 5D - lens question11 Dec 2005 11:26 GMT10
During an approaching shoot I'm going to be able to use both a Nikon
D2X and Canon 5D. I thought this would be a good opportunity to compare
the images produced by both cameras.
I have an 85mm f1.8 lens for the Canon, and I thought a good comparison
panorama_digital11 Dec 2005 10:52 GMT1
Digital has this advantage that cost nothing and  we can shoot as many
pics as we want to achieve 300 dpi creating panorama or mosaic display.
It is a little time consuming but result are printouts 2 m by 6 m and
300 dpi !

I am a newbie and had a Pentax dslr.
Just this morning, I went to a  major store in Toronto and bought an
adaptor  for screw mount.  I saw they have screw mount lens by the
buckets and I believe they are selling them  by weight. None of the
??? Risk of using equipment below rated operating temperature ???11 Dec 2005 07:54 GMT5
Hi, all.
So when a camera advertises an operating temperature limit of 0
degrees, and I am in a place that's, say, a few degrees below - what
are my risks? Damage to the LCD? Physical components like the mirror
Film for Stereoscopic Photography11 Dec 2005 05:06 GMT8
I plan to use a Canon Rebel G 35 mm film camera to take stereoscopic
photos. What kind of film should I use? I love the looks of slide film,
but I understand that accentuates color over resolution. Which is more
important for stereoscopic photography?
S5000 and 1GB xD cards11 Dec 2005 04:15 GMT2
I've got an S5000 and she's certainly adequate but what's inadequate is
the 128M card I have.
I'd like to use a 1GB with her but I've read that there are some
incompatibility and speed problems with the cards over 512M.
pictbridge...?11 Dec 2005 03:19 GMT2
Call me stupid, and I know you will ;-), but i'm buying my first digital
camera and I thought this would be the place to ask:
I'm getting a pictbridge camera and a pictbridge printer, but not from the
same company (kodak and dell...). I know the camera will work with the
Candlelight reflection captured by D70 when Filteris used11 Dec 2005 02:28 GMT17
I took a picture of my niece about to blow out the candles on her birthday
cake.  Upon inspection of the captured image it appears that the bright
candle lights reflected in perfect symmetry to the opposite side of the
frame.  I was pretty disappointed about this ruined shot so ...

more bling for the buck.
How did I do that?10 Dec 2005 23:36 GMT4
I have been having a stupid day and need a little help.
I Had about 4000 slides in Kodak Carousels. I scanned them and end up with
about 500 slides dating back to 1960.
The are nearly all family oriented record shots. Lots of folks would like
